This perfectly creamy, crunchy and satisfyingly spicy mac and cheese will tickle the tastebuds and keep your friends and family asking for more.
Ingredients
Directions
- Line a small baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray. Sprinkle half of the Frank’s Flavored Cheese evenly onto the greased foil. Place in a pre-heated 400 degree air fryer or regular oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is golden brown. Remove from oven and set aside to cool. When cooled, break the sheet of crispy cheese into smaller pieces and transfer to a small bowl.
- Meanwhile, combine cream, water and salt in a large saucepan. Bring to a low boil.
- Add macaroni noodles and stir to prevent noodles from sticking. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until water and cream mixture has reduced and thickened slightly and noodles are al dente.
- Combine remaining ½ of a bag of Frank’s flavored cheese, the entire bag of mild cheddar cheese and cornstarch in a medium bowl. Gently toss to coat cheese with the cornstarch.
- Slowly stir cheese into the cooked pasta, stirring constantly until mixture is thick and creamy and cheese is fully melted.
- Spoon a heaping pile into bowls and sprinkle a generous amount of the reserved Frank’s crunchy cheese pieces. Serve.
