Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 tsp. steak seasoning
  • 4 ea. brioche dinner rolls
  • 1 cups iceburg lettuce, shredded
  • ¼ cup thousand island dressing
  • 8 ea. hamburger dill pickle slices
  • 1 tbsp. minced onion
  • ¼ cup hot water
  • 4 slices Sargento® Sharp cheddar cheese, quartered
Directions
  1. Pre-heat oven to broil. Divide ground chuck into 8 equal portions, and place on a small baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. press into thin patties and season with steak seasoning. Let rest at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Cut each dinner roll crosswise into three equal sections. Toast bun sections and set aside.
  3. Combine onions and hot water in a small bowl and set aside.
  4. Transfer pan with burgers onto top rack of oven. Broil for 3 minutes. Remove baking sheet from oven and flip burgers with a spatula. Return baking sheet to oven and broil an additional 2-3 minutes or until cooked to desired doneness. Top each burger with 2 quarter slices of cheese and broil for another 30 seconds. Remove from oven and let rest while preparing buns.
  5. To Assemble: Spread dressing over cut side of each bun top and bottom. Spoon a teaspoon of onions onto each center section. Place two pickles on each bun bottom over sauce. Place about 1 tablespoon of shredded lettuce over each bottom and center sections of bun. Place 1 cheeseburgers each on bottom and center sections of bun over lettuce. Place center section with cheeseburger over bottom bun with cheeseburger and lightly press down. Finish with bun top and serve.
