Day After Turkey and Cranberry Sauce Panino

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. softened butter
  • 2 slices favorite sandwich bread (sourdough, multi-grain, etc.)
  • 2 Tbsp. thick turkey gravy, divided
  • 3 oz. sliced turkey breast (2 or 3 thin slices)
  • 2-3 Tbsp. leftover stuffing (optional)
  • 3 Tbsp. cranberry sauce, divided
  • 1/3 cup (1-1/3 oz.) Sargento® Artisan Blends® Shredded Mozzarella & Provolone or Bistro® Blends Shredded Mozzarella & Asiago Cheese with Roasted Garlic
  • 3 fresh sage leaves, minced (optional)

Directions

  1. Spread butter over one side of each slice of bread. On unbuttered side of one of the slices, layer 1 tablespoon gravy, the turkey, stuffing, remaining 1 tablespoon gravy, 1 tablespoon cranberry sauce, cheese and sage leaves. Spread remaining 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce over unbuttered side of remaining bread slice. Close sandwich buttered side up.
  2. Cook in a preheated panini maker 3 to 4 minutes or in a large nonstick skillet or cast iron skillet over medium heat 3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
